Fulford Academy
Private-Public Financing Partnership Made In The Year 2002
Fulford Academy promotes itself as “the international Canadian day and boarding school with the multicultural advantage.” It has grown dramatically over the past several years as evidenced by its first graduation ceremony in 2002 celebrating 21 graduating students and its recent 2018 class growing to 100 graduating students. The Academy has established itself as a premiere education facility attracting students from the world over. In April 2017, Fulford Academy partnered with BAU Global to become the first K-12 international campus in all of Canada. It now employs over fifty people and impacts dozens of additional jobs throughout the region. The 1000 Islands CDC is very proud to have been one of six original private and public investors in Fulford Academy helping it to grow into the very successful venture it is today and will continue to be for many, many years to come.
